At the Benedictine Monastery, Rostrevor
Arrived on Monday for the service of Vespers at 5:30pm followed by an evening meal with the monks at 6:45pm. The monks are mostly French so the food is great. They know how to cook!
The view from my guest room
There are 8 rooms for guests. There is a suggested donation for the use of the room and 3 meals each day but it is up to you what you give. If you can't pay the full amount then that is fine. Breakfast is self-service and lunch, the main meal of the day, and supper, are eaten with the monks, in silence.
